Kerala  has the best Volleyball tradition  in the  country . But there  is only limited projects  for  the development  of women  Volleyball in the  state.  No  other  plans  have been  implemented  for the  growth of women’s  Volleyball  at the  grassroots level.

Selection Procedure

1.Selectiom of players from 7^th standard  (below 13 years)

2.Consideration will be given for players from 8^th  and 9^th  level  having extra ordinary height

3.Minimum height  should  be -170 cm

4.10 to 12 players will be selected in the first year

5.After three  years  weed out  the players showing less improvement/less height /poor performance

 
The  project will be  implemented  by the  Kerala state sports council  with  the collaboration of Government  of  Kerala  and   Department of education
